I want to share 3 things I personally gained from reading every day.

Knowledge

I don’t believe I will ever be in a position where I will not be in the need for knowledge. We are in the golden age of information with endless amounts of knowledge in the world. You are sure to find something you’re interested in that will also make you more knowledgeable.

Focus

Reading forces you to engage and reduce your attention to one thing. I look at reading as being a healthy distraction. Reading as often as every day can help you develop a better level of focus you need to devote your attention to one thing at a time.

Inspiration

You never know what content you may come across that may inspire you. It could be a novel that relates directly to something in your life. It could be an article that may convince you to kick one of your dirty habits. I read a book called “Get Your Sh*t Together” by Sara Knight that made me want to focus more on the things I told myself over and over I wanted to accomplish.
