A New Study Shows Vegans And Vegetarians May Have Higher Stroke Risk
A new study published in the British Medical Journal has drawn a correlation between vegans And vegetarians having a higher risk of having a stroke than meat-eaters.
The study revealed 10 fewer cases of heart disease and three more strokes per 1,000 people compared with the meat-eaters. However, the study could not prove whether the effect is down to their diet or some other aspect of their lifestyle. At the end of the day, the study says it may be better for you to eat all times of foods is better for your health.
The research was conducted on 48,000 people for up to 18 years.
I would always take a study like this with a grain of salt, but I also advised ready the study and drawing your own conclusion.
