Why You Should Jog 150 Minutes A Week
Jogging on a regular basis has quite a few health benefits. It can lower blood pressure, cut inflammation, improve heart health, and much more.
The goal of jogging varies base on what the person’s goal is. Whatever your goal is with jogging, I think it is important to have a baseline to follow from week to week. I totally recommend jogging 150 minutes per week as a baseline.
When you break it down 150 minutes will not seem like much. Jogging for 30 minutes a day 5 days puts you right at that 150 minutes mark for the week. Let’s say you want to jog all 7 days. You can cut the daily jog time to 25 minutes a day for 7 days and that would put you at 175 minutes for the week.
The Department of Health and Human Services recommends at least 150 minutes of aerobic activity
