What You Need To Know About Monkeypox

A new virus has emerged right on the hills of the Covid-19 pandemic. The virus is called Monkeypox. So what is Monkeypox and how much do we know about it?

According to the CDC, the first case that came to the United States was in Maryland. An unnamed person was traveling from Nigeria and was diagnosed with a dangerous illness. The Maryland Department of Health later considered this traveler with having the monkeypox virus.

  • Backpain
  • Headache
  • Exhaustion
  • Muscle aches

Where Did It Come From

The first cases were reported in central and west Africa areas. Countries with reported cases include Sierra Leone, Liberia, Nigeria, Cameroon, and more

How To Cure

Currently, there is no sure way to eradicate Monkeypox but there is some good news. Based on the research gathered by the CDC, they believe Monkeypox has some similarities to the Smallpox. Smallpox was considered eradicated back in 1980.
